BJ Penn and Jose Aldo Jr. won't fight each other, because both come from the Nova Uniao MMA & BJJ background. B.J. Penn's BJJ coach is Renato "Charuto" Verissimo (Nova Uniao) and Jose Aldo Jr.'s coach is Former UFC Fighter Andre "Dede" Pederneiras (Nova Uniao). B.J. Penn Vs. Jose Aldo Jr. is out the window

Scott Coker said "We don't want Strikeforce to be known as the promotion that signs UFC or WEC rejects." so we may or we may not see Cote and/or Gongaza there.

Cain Velasquez did TKO Minotauro Nogueira in the 1st Round at UFC 110 Australia.

The extra UFC Fight Nights will be the UK UFC Fight Nights. UFC will be doing UFC Fight Nights in the UK for 2011.

Patrick Cote did beat Scott Smith by a Boring Decision at UFC 67. Scott Smith is moving down to 170 lbs.

Patrick Cote lost to Alan Belcher and Tom Lawlor back to back after coming back from the injury.

Gabriel Gonzaga even switched up camps in order to prepare for Brendan Schaub. Gonzaga trained up at Xtreme Couture and Coach Ron Frazier (Xtreme Couture Boxing Coach) to prepare for Schaub

Joe Silva will be the Matchmaker for Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight after the merger.

Sean Shelby (Current WEC Matchmaker) will be the Matchmaker for Featherweight, Bantamweight, & (eventually) Flyweight after the merger.

UK fans are happy with the UFC and WEC merger, because Majority of UK fans didn't get to see WEC. But now due to the merger, they do.

On a side note, UFC DID fly out one of there attorneys to try to get a TV deal to keep PRIDE FC around. UFC did give up after 6 weeks of trying to get a TV deal. This attorney even had moved out his whole family out to Japan to get a TV deal and they all moved back after weeks. This was confirmed by few of the former PRIDE FC employees.
