"Koscheck on camera and Koscheck off camera are completely two different personalities." if you don't believe me ask the writers/journalists from sherdog.com, mmaweekly.com. ask them how Koscheck is like off camera. Koscheck is a decent guy off camera. but anytime he is on camera, he plays it up.

It is interesting that Chuck Liddell who is a nice guy are friends with Josh Koscheck and Matt Hughes.

Court McGee after TUF trains up at the Pit with John Hackleman, Chuck Liddell, Howard Davis Jr (who is the boxing coach for American Top Team & The Pit)

Are you guys kidding me? Split the HW Division? Brendan Schaub was 239 lbs for the Gonzaga fight, not 235 lbs. 4 lbs off JDH.

There aren't that much great HW's in MMA. Most of the great athletics at those HWs division are playing football.

If UFC splits the HW division right now. It is going to be the same 4 dudes fighting each other over & over & over & over & over for the title...

Xyience is still around. I see it a Kmart, Albertsons, 7-11, & etc...

However I know that Xyience Training Center in Las Vegas, NV is no more. then, It became Warrior Training Center and that is no more. Now It became Throw Down Training Center.

UFC gets ad $$$ for showing Video Game or Movie Previews.

Tito Ortiz said after his fight with Matt Hamill that he couldn't train his wrestling as much and also 15 days before the fight Jenna Jameson's father passed away, so the he was driving back and forth from Huntington Beach and Big Bear during that time.

Jake Shields said that not to make excuses, but he cut 20 lbs in one day to make 170 lbs (not smart)

Who the hell has Cheeto (Tito) finished besides Ken Shamrock in his last few fights

"Dr. MMA" Tim Lee said...

Also Brock Lesnar admitted that he verbally yelled "Stop" to the ref during the Cain onslaught so that is why Herb stopped the fight.

The WWE Cody said...

I dont care what anyone says, I know with all the Cain Velesquez wins I have made excuses why he won......Well I am going to do it again hahahaha.

Brock Lesnar did not seem like he wanted this fight much like the Shane Carwin fight which he got lucky on we all admit, second time he wasnt so lucky. He looked like he just wanted to fight and go home and didnt care much else, He came out doing some dumb shit wore himself out and Cain just bullied him the rest of the fight. I dont know what the hell is wrong with Brock Lesnar, the Brock Lesnar that tore apart Frank Mir Heath Herring and Randy Couture is not the guy who fought Shane Carwin and Cain Velesquez.

Sitting back and thinking about it, maybe that virus he had or whatever the hell it was did end his career but in a much different way. I dont think he has the drive and desire anymore and I would not be shocked to see him retire from MMA or lose his next fight. Brock Lesnar needs something to make him want this make him become the Lesnar that bullrushed Frank Mir and beat the hell out of him win or lose. Thats the Brock Lesnar I do not think Cain Velesquez could of beaten. This Brock Lesnar, well I dont see him winning another fight.

As far is whats next for him? Probably Lesnar vs Mir III or give him a fight where he would be heavily favored to win like against a Brendan Schaub or Stefan Struve....even maybe Mirko Cro Cop. Who knows...I just hope the old Brock Lesnar will return so he can go and whoop the WHO I STILL THINK IS the overrated Cain Velesquez. Junior Dos Santos will be the next champion I am willing to bet on that one.

Cody,

it seems like you believe that power beats technique most of the time or you believe that MMA is based on all power and zero technique. Cain won, because he had the better technique period.

Cain has wrestled against better wrestlers in college and he trains wrestling with 2008 summer olympic wrestling team captain / strikeforce fighter Daniel Cormier

"Dr. MMA" Tim Lee said...

BTW...Kaitlin Young who trains out of Minnesota Martial Arts Academy (former training camp of Brock Lesnar) said everyone at Minnesota Martial Arts Academy was happy to see Cain win.

Maybe Brock shouldn't of left Greg Nelson

Brock Lesnar's new boxing coach Peter Welch said "Brock still has a long way to go in boxing."

Peter Welch is the boxing coach for Kenny Florian, Jorge Rivera, and he was also the boxing coach on TUF seasons 1 & 2

"Dr. MMA" Tim Lee said...

Diego Sanchez said that he contributes his victory by returning to Greg Jackson's and moving back to New Mexico full-time. Diego left after his loss to Jon Fitch in 2007. He return to Greg Jackson's after his lost to John Hathaway.

Here is the thing with Junior Dos Santos's ground game. Fighter's and trainers that are close to JDS and trained with him all said "Junior's ground game is good." However Fighter's and trainers that are NOT CLOSE to JDS and trained with him all said "Junior still has lots to learn."

Close Friends are saying "JDS's ground game is good."

Brock Lesnar's striking looked good? really? really? really?

I don't even consider Minotauro Nogueira's MMA striking even B level. I consider his MMA striking level C level.

Yes I am very nitpicky when it comes to MMA technique.

I like it when fighters win with good or great technique.

Non-Friends who trained with JDS are saying "JDS has a lots to improve on the ground."

thelightsoutshow said...

Tim, did you just really complain that I was 4 pounds off on Schaub's weight?

"Dr. MMA" Tim Lee said...

not complaining, just pointing it out JDH.

BTW...Brock Lesnar's striking was robotic.

Cain Velasquez said that he was not happy with his performance against Brock Lesnar. He said that he was not happy that he froze for a little bit in the early part of round 1

"Dr. MMA" Tim Lee said...

Cain Velasquez said that Junior dos Santos has the best striking in the UFC HW division
