Nick Diaz making 155 lbs? mu ha ha ha ha ha.
I almost feel asleep about 20 times during the Noons Vs. Diaz II rematch fight, because it was 25 minutes of sloppy boxing fest.
Nick Diaz said at the post-fight: "I couldn't decide in the fight if I wanted beat him on the feet or beat him on the ground"
I think they should force feed him some horse meat and let him fight Brock and if not.. Diaz vs Overeem..fedor would be too easy!
Someone get this man some Ridilen... wow... He was all over the place.. not paying attention.. etc... then he says he basically has fought everyone GSP has.. so he should get a shot at him??? Come on...
They both fought Karo Parysian - Diaz lost... both fought Sherk... Diaz lost...
That would be the only fighters they both fought... so tell me again... how does he deserve to fight the best?!?! Because he is fighting in the farm league beating guys like Noons, Sakurai, Zaromskis, Scott Smith and Frank Shamrock.... while GSP is beating BJ Penn, Fitch, Hughes, Alves, Hardy...etc...
Someone needs to shut up Diaz... he wouldn't last on a 4 fight contract in the UFC! If he fought 4 of the top 10 170 lbers in the UFC .. he would get worked... and might win 1... but doubtful!!
If you guys are really going to judge Nick Diaz based on level of opponent then there are more gaytards watching mma then I thought.
Nick Diaz vs GSP would be a fight of the year without a doubt. Now I am no idiot I am not saying Nick Diaz would win but he would put up a bigger fight then the overhyped Alves, the one dimensional Jon Fitch and the outweighed BJ Penn. People who doubt Diaz just because of who he has fought dont know what the hell their talking about.
Now Nick Diaz at 155 is well I agree stupid and thats just the marijuana talking on Diaz's part. He is well suited for 170 and I will bet he can make a run in the UFC. Nick Diaz is a different fighter from when he fought both Sherk and Parisyan so if your gonna judge him fighting GSP based on that, then my friend you like Diaz should lay off that crack.
Anyway i stand behind the fact that Nick Diaz would push GSP to the limit and until he fights him I will always stand by it.

Well... "The Cody"... if you are going to call out people... please have something to back it up... sure... Diaz is NOT the same fighter that he was when he lost to those guys... when he lost to Diego, etc... but to say him vs GSP would be fight of the year is laughable... why would it be?! Because he has looked so good lately vs mediocure talent?!?!?!
If you are a realist about MMA.. you would know that GSP has done nothing but fight the best in MMA at 170... sure he outweighed BJ and he should never fight at 170... but BJ at 170 is prob better than EVERY Strikeforce 170 lber INCLUDING Diaz...
Fitch may be 1 dimensional... but would spank Diaz... his chin is strong and proved it in the beating he got from GSP... and sure some of my comments may just be me being biased because I don't think there are a lot of people outside the UFC that should be in the UFC...at 170.. so look at this list that is on the right hand of this site...

Now that would be top 9 UFC.. in all honesty... Diaz should not be on this list... Jake Shields is better than him as well...
So GSP vs Diaz may be exciting ... up until the bell rings... because Diaz can sell a fight... but it would be over once they touch gloves.. and nothing can be proven until they actually step in the octogon and fight... but its no contest... no fight of the yr... just another day in the office for GSP....

You must new my man I call everyone out I think is wrong here on TLOS but dont take is as disrespect my man i am just voicing my opinion. Let me put it to you like this, I could give you 101 reasons why Nick Diaz would make it in the UFC and why GSP would have a hard time with him. But there is no point because Nick Diaz will never fight in the UFC, he likes being the Champ he likes fighting in his hometown he has no reason to really give all that up UNLESS he loses but there isnt anyone that will beat Nick Diaz in strikeforce period.
Anyway an opinion is an opinion and it is what it is.
No I'm not new... I just don't tend to go back and forth with people....
Everyone has an opinion and thats fine... my opinions tend to be wrong... go back over a yr ago and ask JDH what I kept telling him... I kept saying if Maia gets a shot at Anderson Silva, he will sub him... this was before his fight with Nate... so I was wrong... just like how I think my fav fighter, Koscheck, will beat GSP... eh... I could be wrong.. but then again, he was the last fighter to win a round vs GSP.. we'll see...
Back to Diaz... I've seen the guy fight and yea... he prob wont get beat in Strikeforce.. but whats that say about him?? If he says he wants the best... maybe he should go where there is better talent!!! Beating no namers... popular Dream fighters, etc.... does nothing for me... he wont go to the UFC because the guy will get worked.... he is a good fighter... dont get me wrong... but his skill set is not good enough to last vs the top 10 in the UFC.. and deep down, although he wont admit to it... he knows it too.... its like in other sports... if a college athlete thinks he is ready, he will go pro... or Ricky Rubio playing bball in Spain... doesnt think he is ready for the NBA although he was drafted by the Wolves... he is staying in Spain.... Diaz... doesnt think he can hang... so lets stay in the smaller show and beat up nobodies.... stay the champ.. and spout off more KNOWING there is nothing people can do about it bc the UFC and strikeforce wont co-promote to have champ fight champ....
