DUDE! I LOVE THE IPA!! (All my buddies think I am nuts though. haha)
Checking this out....
What IF, Kenflo won and then Edgar won again? Who do you think would win a Edgar, Florian fight?
That would be cool
Dana White said that they are still working a network TV deal.
Dana White said: "I said I would sign a network TV deal when the right deal comes along, but I never said WHEN it would be. It could be a year, 2 years, 5 years, or 40 years from now when it happens. I don't know."
An Average Pro-Wrestler in WWE gets paid LESS than the TOP MMA fighter in the UFC
At the last M-1 Global / Strikeforce Co-Promotion Show (Fedor Vs. Werdum) at the weigh-ins. The entire M-1 Global management jumped on Scott Coker because there wasn't enough M-1 Global banners in the arena.
IF Fedor Vs. Alistair happens, it won't happen as a title bout, because M-1 Global refuses to sign the strikeforce champions clause. This was one of the reasons why M-1 Global didn't sign with the UFC. They didn't want to sign the UFC champions clause.
Don't be surprised IF we see Gilbert Melendez in the UFC in the future. Jake and Gilbert think the same way when it comes to MMA. IF Strikeforce keeps feeding him the "K.J. Noons" of the world, he won't stick around long.
B.J. Penn changed his whole training philosophy for the rematch with Frankie Edgar. B.J. Penn said that he used to only spend on the physical part of the training 100%, but for the rematch with Edgar he changed that. He split his training into 3rds. He spent 1/3 of his time on physical training, 1/3 of his time on training his mind, and 1/3 of his time on training his spirit. instead of just training 100% on the physical aspect.
B.J. Penn did bring in Antonio Banuelos and Bibiano Fernandes to help to prepare for Frankie Edgar. Frankie Edgar is a 145 lbs fighter who is fighting at 155 lbs.

MMA History: Gene LeBell (Judo) Vs. Milo Savage (Boxing) from 1963
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9mER2BmNRA&feature=player_embedded
"Judo" Gene LeBell is a current MMA judge in the CSAC. He was the 1st grappling coach for Bruce Lee. He is also a hollywood stunt man. He has trained Manny Gamburyan, Karan Darabedyan, and Karo Parsiayn.
I just got word from one of the trainers of James Toney who shall remain nameless that "Toney is toast, he had a hard time in training adjusting Boxing for MMA. He couldn't even adjust to the 4 ouch MMA gloves."
