NEW TLOS SUNDAY!
Heads up, everyone! Another new volume of The Lights Out Show will be broadcast at "around" 1:00 pm PDT/4:00 pm EDT LIVE on Sunday, July 18th. I think that Chris Fries means 1:00pm / 4:00pm (CFDT) Chris Fries Daylight Time....LOL
UFC Matchmaker Joe Silva said that he is against "friend" vs "friend" and "teammate vs teammate", because they might not fight each other and not engage
Rorion Gracie said at the october 2003 ultimate submission showdown: "if i find out they are friends, i don't match them up, because they may not fight each other." (meaning they wouldn't engage)
Imagine if UFC forces two friends or teammates to fight each other, when they don't want to. you will get a boring fight, because they won't engage.
Tyson Griffin Vs. Evan Dunham was not a teammate vs. teammate fight. Evan just trained at Xtreme Couture a few times.
Bob Cook from A.K.A. said "if two of our guys fighter each other, it would tear our gym apart."
GSP said "you play basketball, you play baseball, you don't play mixed martial arts."
GSP also said "loyalty is the main reason why i would never fight a friend or teammate. i believe it is NOT loyal to fight you friend or teammate."
can we just nix any discussion about last night's Impact FC now...just say it happened and move on...

Maybe I should ask Chris to do a entire "Asian Corner" episode.. we'll go over Jewels (Birthchild of Smackgirl MMA promotion), Shooto, DEEP, ZST, Pancrase, CageForce, & etc...
On a side note, I won't be joining the show today, because schedule conflict, so have fun and Chris & THE JDH will have to rely on the almighty google.com for help
