Just a little while longer
Everything's a go for today's show. We're getting set up and should be on the air at about 10:20 am PDT or so. So those waiting for the live show, hang in there for just a few.

Yea I heard that to. Elton showed him a yellow thong but then Chris showed him his pink one and Elton got a little jealous cause he had a dark red rose on it haha

I was shocked that the show was listed for 10am PDT...that would mean that Fries has to get up before noon...

Chris Leben won that fight cause he was the better man. If Chris really tried to hook up with Akiyama, Akiyama would of been so mortally horrified he would of got knocked out in the opening seconds of the fight.

Chris Leben said something very interesting at the post fight interview and it's true: "All Japanese fighters have a tendency to fight for the crowd and fight stubborn."
If there ends up being a post on the show that says no show today or we have to wait longer I swear I will beat Chris with his own porcellin doll collection
Akiyama needs to work on his cardio and drop down to 170 lbs.

You cant really say Akiyama fought stubborn I mean lets be real as much as I love Chris Leben, he was losing the stand up battle and almost got taken down with ease. But he was able to stun Akiyama over and over and when they did go down he almost caught him in an armbar twice and then actually got him in a triangle. You can say cardio was the issue, but either way Leben won that fight with skill and perhaps a little luck not because Akiyama didnt fight smart.

Leben's triangle wasn't even locked in all the way.
Leben did admit at the post-fight that he doesn't remember that well. Leben was out on his for a little bit in rd. 2
Even Leben admitted that Akiyama fought like typical japanese mma fighter attitude for the crowd.
IF you know Japanese fighters from Japan. They fight with this "I will die in the ring" attitude. They all fight for the crowd, even though they may not be the smartest thing for them to do.
